THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER AFFORDS A LONG LIST OF ACTIVITES AVAILABLE TO OUR CAMPERS. SOME FINE FISHING, FROM MANY SPOTS ALONG THE SHORELINE TO THE COURTESY DOCK AS YOU SEE ABOVE OR BRING YOUR OWN BOAT TO LAUNCH AND GO OUT ON THE RIVER.

After launching your craft, a 4 mile ride upstream will present the "Princeton Beach Island".
Another 3 miles upstream you will find "The Pits" an old sand quarry off the channel with calm warm water to relax in.
Downstream about 6 miles above the pleasure lock #14A is "The Canal" another "no-wake" area off the channel for floating and relaxing the day away.
